All About Giraffes

Giraffes are smart because they can dive and flip. They have the tallest necks because they eat leaves. When they walk they are loud. Giraffes are the tallest mammals in the world.

Giraffes live in the wild in Africa or in zoos. At the zoo giraffes have pools so they can drink the water. They are very flexible because they do tricks in the water.

  1. Hi Cayden,
What a great blog post. I love the way you have learnt about Giraffes and shared some interesting facts with us. If you were a Giraffe would you like to live in a zoo or the wild? It is awesome to see you blogging and I can’t wait to see what you achieved during our holiday learning journey.
Stay safe, be kind and keep learning.

  2. Hi Mrs. Carruthers If I was a giraffe I would live in the zoo because some of them have pools. Where would you live if you were a giraffe?

    1. Hi Cayden, I think I would live in the wild because even though there is more dangers, there is also more space. I would want to run free and see all the other giraffes. I’m sure there would be watering holes in the wild to drink from and swim in too. Have you seen giraffes before?

    3. I like the way the giraffes use their long necks to reach up high into the trees to pick leaves. I also like watching the little baby giraffes as they learn to walk and wobble all over the place. What about you, what is your favourite thing about them?
