Blob tag

This morning Room 20 played a game called Blob tag. We played under The cloud on the hardcourt. We played to learn strategy and teamwork. First Mrs Adina told us the rules. She said “There are 2 tagers they have to hold hands;if they tag someone then he or she has to join the blob. If the blob gets four people, they have to split and be two blobs of two. There will be a five minute timer, if the blob gets everyone then the blob wins and if all the runners don’t get tagged, they win.” Then we lined up when we got to the court Mrs Adina told us the boundaries then she told us who the taggers are then she blew her whistle then the game started the taggers were Jaxon and Hunter. First they got Benji, then they got me I tried my hardest to tag people but they always got away. At the end I was so excited but I noticed that there wasn't anybody holding people that wasn't their frend hands

Catch the dragons tail

                                                                    Orientation

Today my class played a game. We played catch the dragons tail. We played on the field.

                                                                    The rules

Fist we sat on the mat and Mrs Adina told us the rules she said "There were 2 ways to play. The first way to play is to have one big dragon to make the dragon you have to hold each others hips and if you let go you lose and the dragon dies but if the head of the dragon to catches the tail before you let go  you all would win, The second way was there were 2 dragons a boy dragon and a girl dragon, the head of the boy dragon caught the tail they win but if the boy dragon breaks they lose and the same rules for the girl dragon and it is first to three."

                                                                      Voting

Then we had a vote for which version of the game we wanted to play. So Mrs Adina said "Put your hand up for the big dragon" then Mrs  Adina counted the hands that were up and there were only six then Mrs Adina said "hands up for the girl dragon and the boy dragon'' then the rest of the class put there hands up then Mrs Adina said "okay then I guess we are playing boys vs girls.

Then we lined up and went to the field. Once we got to the field we got into our dragons the Mrs Adina said go then we were off my team went strait for the tail so we ran well we ran my hear was racing with joy then we broke luckily that was the practice. Then it was the real deal so then Mrs Adina said go then we were off when we started we walked so we didn't break then the girls broke. Then we had to go back to our dragon form. when we started the girls broke. When they broke we were one point away from winning I was super exited. Then we started the girls were running then they broke again and the boys won. It was so exiting that we won. then we walked back to class.

4 Corners

Today My class played 4 corners. We played it in our class. We had 3 rounds one was the practice round spoiler alert I lost the real games. 

First we watched a video of the rules. It said that to play 4 corners you have to have 5 or more players, then you choose one player to be it, the person who is it has to count to ten then choose a number from 1-4, what ever number he says is out so the people in that corner are out. Then who ever was the last one standing was the winner. When it was done we talked about the rules. Mrs Adina said we weren't having numbers but instead birds. We had Chicken, Duck, Geese and Turkey.

When we were done talking we had a practice round. Mrs Adina chose  John to be it. Then Mrs Adina got the  blindfold and blindfolded John then he started counting. when he was done counting he said geese than all the people in the geese corner was out but then we all sat on the mat and it started. It now was the real deal. John counted down then he said geese. Then every one in geese went to their seats. Then the people still in the game went to the mat and John started counting I went to geese, then John said duck then they were out. Then I went to duck and John said duck then me and everyone in duck was out then he said turkey and the people in turkey were out. Then we had a winner the winner was Elijah.
