Today I made an origami box with a lid. This was a big challenge because of the shapes and folds I used to make this. This was fun because I like origami. Hope you try to make one on on your own.
I'm really impressed with your origami box! It's so clever that you managed to make a box that doesn't require any celotape or anything. Just folds! The Japanese are so clever with this sort of thing. Did you know origami comes from their culture? They also go a step further with building projects. They figured out a way of building where you don't even need nails - they managed to construct really safe houses with clever joinery techniques. They are so simple and yet also extraordinary and beautiful.
Did you enjoy making this box? How long did it take you? Did you have to have many attempts?
Please also let me know if you have plans to do any more origami in the future! I would love to know if you've got anything planned.

Your origami box is super awesome! You must have made it very well! Unfortunately I struggle a bit with origami as it is too precise for me. You must be very patient and clever! As Ruby said above, origami comes from Japan! They used similar techniques to build homes and structures! Crazy right??
It is amazing that you included the fractions and shapes you witnessed when creating your origami box! So many different shapes are involved in the art!
What do you think you would use this box for? What other origami creations can you make?
