Geometric art

Today I did some geometric art in google drawing. This was fun because I liked the challenge of the butterfly.  The butterfly was a challenge because I only used triangles. Hope you like my geometry art.

It is me Quein again, a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. Thank you for sharing your creative mahi with me and your fellow bloggers. The geometric art that you have created of the butterfly and shark. It is Great to see that you have had fun during these activities. It certainly looks like you have put a lot of effort into your activity.

An interesting fact is that there are almost 20,000 butterfly species in the world, I really like the monarch butterfly. Do you have a favorite butterfly?

Keep up the Super work we look forward to your next blog post!!!

    Have a Super Summer!!!

    1. Hi Quein this actually took 10-15 minutes to make in total but I really enjoyed it. My secret to the butterfly's wings, were using the copy and paste tools.

I only know a little about the monarch butterfly. What else do you know about butterflies? -Cayden

Thank you for your reply, that is super good to hear that you enjoyed it. I don't know much else about butterfly's although they definitely are amazing creatures that make the world a little bit more brighter.

  2. Kia ora Cayden,

It’s Fiona from the Manaiakalani team. I think you have done an excellent job of this geometric animal art challenge - well done! I like the way that you challenged yourself to use only triangles in your butterfly design. What a great tip to use the symmetry of the butterfly to help you by making a copy of the wing. Thanks for sharing this tip! I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed this task :)
I look forward to seeing more creative blog posts from you over the summer.

    Ngā mihi,
    Fiona Waugh
