SLJ: Water Xylophone

Today, I made a water xylophone using glasses. I learnt how to do this from a video that Nanogirl shared on her website. I also followed the instructions that she shared with us. I decided to play a Christmas song because Christmas is just a few days away. This was a lot of fun and a little bit tricky. What song do you think you will be able to play?

  1. Hi Cayden,
Well done on completing the experiment! I have been playing the song Jingle Bells on my xylophone!

    1. Hi Nanogirl!

Thanks for your comment. When you play Jingle Bells do you use more than three glasses?

  2. Kia ora Cayden,

You have done yet another great post for the Summer Learning Journey - ka pai! It is so exciting that Christmas is in just 2 more sleeps - maybe you can play jingle bells on Christmas day on your water xylophone.

I have watched videos on YouTube of kids playing jingle bells with 5 glasses of water.

I would love to watch your video but the access is restricted. Could you please share it so anyone can view?

    Ngā mihi nui,

  4. Kia ora Cayden,

I did have a great Christmas, thank you! I hope you did to.

Unfortunately, I still can't see your video. You should have received an email requesting to give me permission to access the file you have uploaded in this post as I am not currently able to do so (and neither is anyone else visiting your blog).

Could you please grant me access? Thank you - I am really looking forward to watching your video.

    Mā te wā,

    Fiona (SLJ).
